Poor Cell Phone Reception In Your House? Here's The Solution To Your Problems!!!

I was going to post this a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to test it out before writing about it.

Amazon now carries "Wireless Extenders Cell Phone Signal Booster"
The way it works is that you set up the antenna wherever you have the best signal, most likely outside an upstairs window or in your attic.
There is a wire that connects the antenna to the base system.
The base system is placed where you have the weakest cell phone signal and it repeats the good cell phone signal for 2,500 sq. ft.

I set this up in my house, and where I used to have 1-2 bars downstairs I now get 4-5 bars. Additionally I used to not have a signal in my basement, but now I do!

Is it worth $230? Try it out for yourself, if it doesn't work out for you, you won't be out a single penny!

There are 3 versions of this product.
-An 800MHz booster for Cingular/ATT, Verizon, and Alltel. This one retails for $299, and is on sale from Amazon for just $230 shipped.
-A 1900MHz booster for Sprint and T-Mobile. This one also retails for $299, and is on sale from Amazon for just $230 shipped.
-A 800MHz/1900MHz booster that works for all companies. This one retails for $399, but is currently not available from Amazon.

800MHz booster for Cingular/ATT, Verizon, and Alltel.

1900MHz booster for Sprint and T-Mobile.

Please Note:
-It is critical to follow the directions carefully for you to get the optimal signal boost!
-If you don't have a cell phone signal anywhere in or around your house then this will not solve your problem!

Did Amazon Cancel All Of/Part Of Your Pinzon Orders?

Update: I decided to call Amazon and speak to a manager instead of just relying on one email communication.
The extremely sympathetic manager preemptively refunded the money for my entire order!!! (I would've been happy with a partial refund!)
It's amazing customer service like this when something goes wrong that truly sets Amazon apart.

Amazon shipped only part of my Pinzon order to me.

I made 2 orders, 1 was for 8 swirl dof glasses and 2 decanters for $18.78.
The other was for 8 swirl pilsner glasses, 2 swirl pitchers, 4 swirl dof glasses, and 1 decanter for $40.

My 1st order was completely canceled.
My 2nd order was only half shipped-half of it was canceled, but I was charged the full $40!

I complained to them about the "scam" that they pulled and was offered a $10 gift certificate.

Not good enough.

Looks like it's time to fight the charge with AMEX...

There's not much that you can legally do about a canceled order, but to send out a partial order at full price just isn't right!

Amazon Now Carries La Briute Meals!

No irony intended in posting a food deal on a fast day. I simply found out that Amazon carried these tonight!

Amazon's selection isn't great, but there are 4 meat meals and 3 vegetarian options.
Unfortunately Amazon doesn't seem to have a dairy option currently.

The price is 6 meals for $38 shipped.
Each meal comes with a heating element, and an entree, soup, and dessert.

If you've never had a La Briute meal before, they are pretty neat, and it's great to have a hot meal when traveling to places without kosher food.

It comes with a package of salt-water and a heating tray, and when you pour the salt-water onto the heating tray it creates steam and cooks the meal in less than 15 minutes.

The meals themselves can last for years when unopened!

La Briute Meals At Amazon Linky
Important Note: Only the yellow boxed meals have the heating element, soup, and dessert.
The cheaper (6 for $26) brown-boxed meals only contain an entree!
